Mentoring is a community-based, one-to-one therapeutic service that provides support to children and adolescents who are exhibiting behavioral concerns. Our Mentoring program helps empower youth within our community to make positive life choices.
Our Mentoring program focuses on the development of the following four key areas:
- Interpersonal Relationships
- Pro-Social Behavior
- Community Involvement
- Wellness
Program Highlights:
- Supporting clients in developing and practicing positive communication, anger management, and conflict resolution skills
- Assisting clients to seek and engage in positive community activities such as volunteerism, recreational sports, or part-time employment
- Providing education and behavioral reinforcement on wellness topics such as nutrition, hygiene, and physical activity
- Providing encouragement and accountability to support clients in achieving their goals
